Wine Laboratory

Performing analysis on wine and grape must is indispensable in ensuring the quality of the final product. In the wine lab, wine, grape must, fruit juice, distillates and other products undergo chemical and microbiological analysis for research purposes. These tests are also available as a service for outsiders.

The Wine Laboratory has been accredited since March 18, 2003 according to UNI EN CEI ISO 17025:2005 standard for the following analyses (accreditation number ACCREDIA 0463): alcoholic strength by volume, total acidity expressed as tartaric acid, pH-value, reducing sugars, volatile acidity, total dry extract, sugar free extract, density and specific gravity at 20°C.
