Office of Agricultural Chemistry
The Agricultural Chemistry Laboratory performs analyses, from physicochemical into innovative DNA- and RNA-based techniques, within the fields of agriculture and forestry. These analyses are carried out as a service for farmers, as part of research projects, and on request for various provincial organisations. The range of analyses includes soil and specialised analyses; plant, fruit and fodder analyses; and residue analysis. One focus is the development and optimisation of new analytical methods. A final emphasis is providing consultation services on fertiliser use in fruit growing, viticulture, horticulture and mountain agriculture.
