Specialised Crops

The Department of Specialised Crops is engaged in the following areas of study:

• Vegetable growing with a focus on cultivar testing, fertilisation, crop management, organic farming and consulting
• Berry and stone fruit cultivation with a focus on variety testing, combination of varieties and rootstocks, cultivation techniques and consulting
• Herb cultivation with a focus on variety testing, components, crop management, organic farming and consulting
• Cultivation of ornamental plants with a focus on show gardens, training and consulting
