Mountain Agriculture

The Department of Mountain Agriculture is engaged in the following areas of study:

• Cattle farming with a focus on feeding and processing of farmyard manure
• Pasture farming with special attention on permanent grasslands and respecitve farming techniques
• Arable farming, including variety testing of various arable crops, collection and characterisation of indigenous varieties
