Residue Analysis

Pesticides are used in agriculture in order to secure the harvest. The Residue Laboratory conducts tests that help guarantee environmentally friendly cultivation that utilises products with residue levels that do not exceed legal limits

  • Analysis of residues from insecticides, fungicides, acaricides and herbicides on agricultural products as well as in soil and water
  • Detection of mycotoxins in foods and fodder
  • Analysis of natural substances
  • Analysis of environmental pollutants such as PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), pentachlorophenol, and lindane
  • Analyses of new pesticides in terms of degradation properties and airborne drift
  • Residue analysis of random samples from organic and integrated orchards, for compliance with appropriate guidelines
  • Development and optimisation of new methods of analysis
