Structured Administration Supporting Scientific Research
Administration plays a strategic role across the board in guaranteeing the efficient, sustainable operation of Laimburg Research Centre’s scientific activities.
Through a wide range of services, ranging from economic and financial management to taking care of human resources, procurement of goods and services, and maintenance of infrastructure, the Administration’s different working groups ensure the operational support needed.
One of Administration’s central tasks is supporting those responsible for procurement, who have thorough knowledge of their own area of competence. Working in close collaboration with the Procurement Division, these managers work in planning purchases, investments and services. Administration provides them with administrative assistance and technical support, to simplify and speed up the different processes. Another important aspect is the gradual application of new rules to tenders, integrated into our internal processes, step by step, to guarantee transparency and fairness at every stage of procurement.
The activities of the Human Resources Division range from publishing vacancies and requests for tender, to management of applications, signing agreements, and managing structured on-boarding. Special attention is dedicated to staff training and internal communication, with the aim of promoting development, strengthening the sense of belonging, and stimulating dialogue within the Centre.
Thanks to the effective collaboration of all areas, researchers can focus all their attention on their scientific goals, supported by a reliable, quality system.
