Commissioned Laboratory and Field Research
Do you want to achieve your research and innovation aims?
Our commissioned research offer allows private companies to access the infrastructure, test fields, and expertise of Laimburg Research Centre. We provide tailor-made services that are both confidential and protect intellectual property rights.
Lab Bonus Incentive
Businesses and start-ups in South Tyrol can request our Lab Bonus incentive, which is available through the NOI Techpark South Tyrol/Südtirol. The Lab Bonus can cover up to 65% of costs.

Do you want to expand your knowledge and contribute to the development of the agrifood sector?
We offer research and consultancy services tailored to your needs and at favourable conditions. By supporting research, you will have access to shared data and contribute to solving the challenges faced by the sector. We offer discounted prices to private partners willing to share the intellectual property rights for the results produced during the project and to disclose them through specialist publications and conferences.
Funding Opportunities
Different funding opportunities are available for collaborations between businesses and research institutes, such as provincial incentives for innovation according to Provincial Law 14/2006, and projects funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Horizon Europe, European Innovation Council (EIC) and other programmes.

- Analysis of technical and scientific literature and existing data: for a detailed understanding of the subject and definition of the state of the art.
- Tailored consulting service for projects: planning support for more complex research projects
- Report: Preparation of a specific technical and scientific reports

- Sample analysis: analysis or processing of a number of samples for rapid results

- Laboratory and field tests: extension of the services offered in the “Small” Package for research projects of medium size and duration.

"Large” Package

Customised Research Projects
- Tailor-made solutions: individual agreement for extensive, complex or long-term research projects that exceed the range of the “Large” Package.

Open Lab Service
Our Open Lab service is aimed at companies and start-ups that wish to use our laboratory facilities and equipment independently. After an introduction by the specialist staff at Laimburg Research Centre, you will be able to use the instruments and equipment in our research laboratories, autonomously, to perform your own tests.
The Lab Bonus incentive, available through the NOI Techpark South Tyrol/Südtirol, can cover up to 65% of costs for South Tyrolean businesses for this service.

Standard Laboratory Tests and Enology Consulting
At Laimburg Research Centre, we offer a wide range of laboratory tests performed by experts using accredited methods and cutting-edge instruments. Our tests include chemical, physical and microbiology tests for a wide variety of samples, including soil, plants, fruits, grapes, beverages, wine and processed food products.
We also offer bespoke enology consulting services, to provide you with targeted support for vinification.
