Laimburg Research Centre promotes young scientists by financing or co-financing a range of PhD scholarships in collaboration with Italian and overseas universities.

PhD scholarships

PhD scholarship subjects concern scientific research for agriculture and food processing and are established together with university supervisors.

Research and Supervision

Recipients of PhD funding perform the most part of their research work at Laimburg Research Centre. Part of the work is also performed at their partner universities.

Supervision takes place jointly between Laimburg Research Centre and partner universities.

Calls for Applications

PhD scholarships are published in the “Career Opportunities” section on the website, every year in May and June. Applications must be submitted through the partner universities.
